GSSSB Fireman Cum Driver Bharti 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

(a)(1) The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by the Board of Secondary and/or Higher Secondary Education or must have an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; and

Note: In the case of equivalent qualification in Standard 12, Standard 12 pass from Gujarat Secondary/Higher Secondary Board except NIOS and other State Government/Central Government recognized Boards or Technical Board diplomas may be considered as equivalent to Standard 12, in which case the circulars/resolutions of the Government from time to time shall be taken into consideration.

(2) Must possess a six months training certificate in Fireman from a recognized institution of the State or Central Government or an Industrial Training Institute, a Fireman’s training certificate or a Driver cum Pump Operator’s training certificate from a recognized institution of the State or Central Government; and

(3) The candidate must possess a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle; and

(4) The candidate must possess the following minimum physical criteria for recruitment to the Fireman cum Driver cadre.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33Years
• Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

• All Other Reserved Candidates (SC/ST, PwD, Women): ₹ 400/-
