GSSSB Library Clerk Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

(b) Possess-

(i) a Bachelor’s degree in the Library and Information Science or Library Science obtained from any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;

(ii) the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;

(iii) adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

2. Age Limit (as on 30/12/2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

GSSSB Library Clerk Recruitment 2025 | Application Fee

• General Candidates (Unreserved): ₹ 500/-
• All Other Reserved Candidates (SC/ST, PwD, Women): ₹ 400/-
• The fees paid shall be refunded to those candidates who appear for the examination.
• Payment Mode: Online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI) or Offline (SBI Challan).

The selection will be based on a two-tier examination followed by document verification:
